We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and there are no user accounts. We do not sell or share personal data.

Some features save data in your browser, on your device only: notes you add to dates, your display settings (week start, week numbers and holiday country) and your light or dark theme. A short-lived session value remembers the direction of your last page turn for the animation. None of this is sent to us.

You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. Export your notes as an .ics file first if you want to keep them.

A service worker keeps copies of the pages you visit so they also work offline. These copies contain only this site’s public pages and are stored in your browser.

Printable calendars, with the language, holidays and options you choose, are generated in your browser. The PDF or PNG file is saved straight to your device and is never uploaded.

Like any website, our hosting provider receives the technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are kept for a limited time.

If you use “Add to Google Calendar” or subscribe to a holiday feed in another app, that service receives the request and handles it under its own privacy policy.

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Depending on where you live, data-protection laws such as the EU GDPR give you rights to access, correct or delete your personal data. Because we hold almost none, most requests will concern emails you have sent us. Write to contact@calendarlocal.com.

CalendarLocal is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, for example because advertising is introduced, we will update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
